Terms and conditions
Last updated: 5 October 2026
These terms apply when you use Dutch+: the website, the waiting list, the practice app, the pre-sale and the exam package. Our contact details are on the privacy page.
1. What is Dutch+?
Dutch+ is an independent practice app for the Dutch speaking exam (inburgering A2 and Staatsexamen Nt2 B1 and B2). We are not connected to DUO or the College voor Toetsen en Examens.
An AI coach scores your answers. That score is an estimate. In the real exam, examiners score your answers. We do not promise that you will pass.
2. Your account
You must be 16 or older. An account is for one person. You log in with a link we send to your email address; do not share that link.
You can delete your account and all your data yourself in the app at any time. You can also download your data.
3. Free use
Without an exam package you can practise for free, with a limited number of scored attempts per day. The app shows how many. We may change the free tier.
4. Prices and payment
All prices are final prices in euros, including VAT. You pay through Stripe, for example with iDEAL, Wero or a card. We never see your payment details.
5. Pre-sale
With the pre-sale you pay for the exam package now and can use it as soon as the app opens. You pay the price you saw on the website.
Until the launch you can always ask for your money back, without giving a reason. After that, the 14-day right of withdrawal applies, unless you have started using the package (see section 6).
6. Exam package and right of withdrawal
The exam package gives you 90 days of access to all tasks, scoring by the AI coach and the practice exam for your level.
The package is digital content you can use straight away. Before you pay, we therefore ask your consent to immediate delivery and your confirmation that you lose your right of withdrawal. Without that consent you cannot buy the package. After payment you receive a confirmation by email.
If the package does not work as promised, contact us. Your statutory rights in case of a defect always apply.
7. What you may not do
Use the app in a way that harms the service, for example by sending large numbers of recordings automatically. Copy tasks, texts or feedback from Dutch+ to sell or publish them.
8. Liability
We do our best to keep the app working and the tasks accurate. We are not liable for your exam result. As far as the law allows, our liability is limited to the amount you paid us.
9. Changes
We may change these terms. We will tell you about important changes by email in advance. A package you have already bought keeps the terms from the moment of purchase.
10. Complaints and law
Do you have a complaint? Contact us; we respond within 14 days. Dutch law applies to these terms. As a consumer you always keep the protection of the law of the country where you live.
